RV Camping - Apalachee Campground

Named in honor of the Apalachee Indians who once occupied park grounds, this modern campground features huge, secluded wilderness sites with underground utilities (water, power, sewer). These uniquely designed sites feature pull-through access and are located in a mini-park area, offering privacy from other campers and park visitors, and are designed and built to accommodate the largest recreational vehicles.

Rate:

$30 per night for RV and up to 4 people. Includes park admission. $6 for extra campers. Up to 8 people per site.

$175 per week/$625 per month

Reservations require a non-refundable deposit of $30.




Individual and Family Tent Camping - Harper Campground

Our individual and family tent campground is located in a wooded, central area of the park. It features large individual campsites, each equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. No utilities, but restrooms with shower facilities nearby.

Rates:

$10 per night for adults/$5 for kids ages 6-12, with a $20 minimum. Includes park admission. Up to 8 people per site. (5-night maximum)

Reservations require a non-refundable deposit of $20.



Improved Tent Camping - Bartram Campground

This new tent campground, named in honor of pioneer naturalist William Bartram, features eight secluded woodland sites. Each is equipped with water, electrical power, a fire ring and picnic table. A restroom is located in the parking area.

Rates:

$30 per night, for up to 2 people. $10 per night for additional adults/$5 for kids ages 6-12. Includes park admission. Up to 8 people per site. (5-night maximum)


Reservations require a non-refundable deposit of $30.




Tensaw Campground

Designed especially for youth groups, the Tensaw is a private campground with two individual sites. Each may be rented separately for groups of less than 50 or both may be rented together for large groups of up to 100. The sites includes picnic tables, fire rings, and a restroom.

Rates:

$10 per night for adults/ $5 per night for kids ages 6-12; minimum $100 per night


Reservations require a non-refundable deposit of $50. Portable restrooms in addition to those provided at each site may be rented at cost to park; presently $65 each



Group Camping - Chastang Field

Chastang Field is the largest group rental area in the park. It is named in honor of colonial-era settler Joseph Chastang, who owned the property prior to the founding of the town of Blakeley. Perfect for large group activities and camping, it is located near the site of the historic town and waterfront and has easy access to several trail systems. It may be reserved for day use and camping.

Rate:

Day use: $100 per day plus regular admission

Camping: $10 per night for adults/$5 for kids ages 6-12; minimum $100 per night. (2-night maximum)

Reservations for camping require a non-refundable deposit of $50. Portable restrooms in addition to those provided at each site may be rented at cost to park; presently $65 each




"Squirrel’s Nests" Camping Shelters

These two camping shelters, nestled in a secluded and scenic area of the park, are available for rental to individuals or small groups. Maximum capacity six people each. The site includes picnic tables, fire rings, a grill and a portable restroom.

Rate:

$25 rental fee plus regular camping rates: $10 per night for adults/$5 per night for children ages 6-12. Includes park admission. (3-night maximum stay)

Reservations require a non-refundable deposit of $25. Portable restrooms in addition to those provided at each site may be rented at cost to park; presently $65 each

Carson Horse Trailer Campground

Named after early town of Blakeley resident and state representative Thomas Carson, this campground features three pull-through sites for horse trailer camping and a six-stall stable. Each site is equipped with water and power and offers a picnic table and fire ring. Up to two horse stalls are made available with each campsite rental. An optional tent-camping space is designated with each horse trailer camping spot, as well.

Campers are required to provide their own buckets and wood shavings for horse stalls. Campers must clean out stalls prior to departure and deposit manure in bunker.

Rate:
$30 per night for up to two people; $10 per night for additional adults/$5 per night for children ages 6-12 with a maximum of eight people per site (includes pull-in and tent sites). Includes park admission. (5-night maximum stay)
