Journey with us by boat through the Mobile-Tensaw Delta, one of Alabama's Ten Natural Wonders. Visit this wilderness eco-system where you will find wetland habitats ranging from marsh to cypress-tupelo swamp and bottomland hardwoods. The Delta is also home to the State's largest population of alligators, black bears, the rare red-bellied turtle, osprey bald eagles, water snakes and game fish. Experience this adventure from the comfort of the covered "Delta Explorer" eco-tour boat, complete with bench seating and restroom facility. The boat is also handicapped accessible.

Delta Explorer News / Schedule:

Walk-on tours, with a 50 passenger maximum on a first come-first serve basis, at a cost of $22 for adults, $12 for children aged 6 - 12, and free for children under 6, are available throughout the year. Reservations are required. Tickets for special tours and walk-ons may be paid for in advance by calling Blakeley Park at 251-626-5581. MasterCard and Visa are accepted.

An Alabama State Dock Tour is scheduled for Wednesday, July 14th from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. $30 for adults, $15 for children 6-12. Reservations required.

Scheduled Walk-ons:
Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Charter boat tours on any date and time when the boat is not in use are available for groups of 25-50 people with a guaranteed minimum. Call 251-626-0798 to book a tour.

School Land and Boat Tours
